I am a Shoe Lover turned 5+ Figure Shoepreneur
As a creative Income Earner I have created streams of income from retailing to designing footwear.
In my own journey to live my life the way I wanted after being laid off from my corporate job , I took a impulse and ran with it.
Since 2013, I have grown my first retail brand to almost 100K followers and created a consistent 5+ figure monthly income, hundreds of relationship with footwear wholesalers, attended trade shows nationwide ,sold to shoe lovers all over the world, created a private/signature collection and over 52 styles!
After 9+ years, I still love the shoe business and everything about it!
Here's a quick view of my shoe journey timeline:
I started my first EVER footwear retail business in 2013, with ZERO retail knowledge, capital, connections or inventory!
By March of 2014, I was officially and consistently making 10K+ per month, just retailing women's footwear.
I also made the most money I had ever made in February 2014, that change everything for me. 27k just from retailing women's footwear via social media!
2016 I created my first private and partial signature collection under my brand solecialLIFE!
2018- I expanded on my experience and connections and created my own personal brand signature footwear collection, Meka K Collection (MKCll)
2019- I started focusing more on teaching aspiring shoepreneurs how to start a shoe business retailing other brands and/or how to create their own shoe brand via private label or private production via digital products and online classes/courses.
2024- I am excited to be launching a US based exclusive and trendy wholesale dropship service offering sizes up to 13 and shipping worldwide!
I will be sharing my experience, lessons, mistakes, successes and resources that I have gained in the footwear retail business over the last 9 years along with content creation, branding and marketing tool and tips that will help you build and scale your own footwear retail business, via Showroom Tours, eBooks, Webinars, Workshops and Seminars.
